How did we get these figures?

How did we calculate your CO2 savings?

The numbers are based on official data provided by our suppliers of bioplastics and recycled raw material and data from the European Environmental Agency.
The CO2 savings relate to the difference between emissions from respectively bioplastics and recycled plastics compared to virgin plastics.

The conversion from CO2 emission numbers to driving distance in kilometers is based on data from the European Environmental Agency on average CO2 emissions from new gasoline-fueled passenger cars in 2020 (117.9 g CO2/km).
